None so Smart...He returns to the barn from the pasture by dark, knowing he is safe from harm...waiting for his fresh hay and sweet feed.

None so Sweet...He speaks with "a nicker" calling me to come see that he is in his stall.

None so Gentle... He never bites or kicks...stands still for a hug and a pet on his soft pink nose. He knows that he is appreciated and loved.

Never a whip or angry words for this Magnificent Horse simply called "Blue".

More About Llamas:

Each llama in a herd has a defined role and responsibility. The herd leader keeps watch for danger and moves into a protective stance if a strange dog or any other animal is seen. The trail leader is the one that the others trust to lead them, navigating around obstacles or crossing streams. If the trail leader is not in the front, they usually will not go forward.  Llamas seem to know when to lead and when to follow...a good lesson in Life for all.
